When should I use an egress window security screen instead of a fixed window security screen?

Egress Window Security Screens should always be used on all bedroom and basement windows for safety reasons. Unlike Fixed Screens, Egress Screens have a continuous hinge on one side and a panic bar on the other, allowing for emergency exits.

Can the egress security screen be a silver finish instead of the black?

No, our security screen mesh is always black, ensuring optimal vision clarity by preventing light reflection. Lighter-colored screens like gray or silver can bounce light into your eyes, reducing visibility and compromising clarity.
